SHELBY - Mrs. Bonnie Dayberry Willis, 94, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at Hospice at Wendover.

A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Ed and Sarah Page Dayberry. She retired from textiles and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She loved to work crossword puzzles and enjoyed keeping a daily journal.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, D.D. Willis; daughter, Phyllis Willis Cook; and three sisters, Violet Sisk, Clovie Panther, and Goldie Blackburn.
She is survived by her three loving and dedicated grandchildren, Kyle Cook and wife Jennifer, Debbie Kelley, and Kristi Cook and fiancé, Beano Francis, all of Shelby; one great-grandson, Cy Jackson Cook; two nieces, Pat Panther and husband Bill, and Maxine Altman, all of Charlotte; her dear friend, Ollie Cook of Shelby; and her loving pet, Lucky.
Visitation: The family will receive friends following the service, at the cemetery
Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cleveland Memorial Park
