HOSCHTON, GA - Hazel Elizabeth Ferree Farnell, 87, of Hoschton, GA died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013.

Born in Cleveland County Oct. 27, 1925, and after graduation from Shelby High School went to work in Civil Service and retried from her job in Fort Benning, GA after years of traveling for the government.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tom Farnell and a son Charles "Chuck" Farnell; her parents John Ernest, Sr. and Grace Roberts Ferree.
She is survived by a son Tommy Farnell and grandson Bryan Farnell of Hoschton, GA; Brothers: J.E. Ferree, Jr (Margaret) of Charlotte, Harvey Ferree (Louise) of Wilton, "Jack" (Marilyn) Ferree of Shelby; Nephews: Roger, Craig and Duane Ferree of Shelby and Bryan Ferree of Houston, TX.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service in the church sanctuary
Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday in the sanctuary of the Second Baptist Church, Shelby
