Donald Bridges Obituary
A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Sue Carol Wease Bridges and Max Bridges and wife Jeanette of Mooresboro. He worked 20 years with his father at Bridges Meat Market, then most recently as a property manager at Don Bridges Rentals. He was an avid sportsman, a man who loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his partner, Debra Ramey of Kings Mountain; sister, Sharon Bridges Walker of Shelby; extended family, Barry Self and wife, Heather, of Shelby, Ron Self of Boiling Springs, Amy Bridges Marlowe and husband, Paul, of Mooresboro, Mandy Lockridge of Kings Mountain, Dale Walker and wife, Julie Durrett Walker, of Durham; nephews, Coleman and Jackson Self, Bryson Marlowe; and niece, Keely Marlowe
Services: Monday, 11 a.m., at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel
Visitation: The family will receive friends Sunday, from 3 to 5 p.m., at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, and other times at the home of his father, Max, 439 Lemons Rd., Mooresboro.

So sorry to hear the bad news about Don, Max & Jeanette. So many leave this life so young, its hard to understand why.He had such a colorful personality that we will miss. We will all meet again sometime in a better place. Bless you'all in this time of sorrow.
