SHELBY-Zebby Fay "Wildman" Chapman, 68, of Kings Road, Shelby, died on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at Hospice of Cleveland County at Wendover.

A native of Rutherford County, he was born on Aug. 12, 1944, a son of the late Ben Chapman and Eva Chapman Withrow.
He retired from the State of North Carolina where he worked in Road Construction. He was a member of First Broad Baptist Church of Golden Valley.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Zebby Ray Chapman.
He is survived by three sons, Shane Chapman of Shelby, Michael Goode of Sunshine, and Dylan Chapman; two daughters, Michelle Eaker of Ellenboro and Julie Brooks of Sunshine; one sister, Myrtle Chapman Ayers of Polkville; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at McKinney- Landreth & Carroll Funeral and Cremation Service.
Funeral Service: 3 p.m. Sunday at the A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel
Burial: Will follow at First Broad Baptist Church Cemetery
