Aubrey E. Johnson
SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Aubrey Johnson, 78, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Don McCormick. Interment will follow in Forest Park West. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at the funeral home.
Aubrey was born on July 28, 1934 in Crystal Springs, MS to Jessie and Marrianna Johnson. He passed away on December 30, 2012 in Shreveport. He was a retired Circulation Manager for
The Shreveport Times.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Bobbie Burns Johnson. He is survived by sons, Steven A. Johnson and wife, Melanie, and Christopher Martin; daughter, Rhonda Sapp and husband, Jimmy; grandchildren, Monica Dressler, Steve Johnson II, Dusty Johnson, Kristina Bull, Rusty Sapp, Alicia Sapp; and eight great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Rusty Sapp, Dusty Johnson, Stevie Johnson, Jason Lewis, Jarrod Thibideaux, and Mike Mullins.
