This man is my paw paw, I am Patty Page's youngest daughter, Katie. I have alot of great memories with my paw paw....the time he turned the lights out in the rail road tunnel, the time he gave me a bird cage so I could keep that little hurt bird I found in his front yard even though granny told me no, he taught me how to crack peacans, and how to make shot gun shells, he told me stories about hunting and what to look for and how to do it when my brother Daniel would take me out....he would let me sit in his chair when granny wouldn't let me sit in hers, he was always so happy to see me and my kids and he always greeted me with a smile and a one of a kind paw paw hug....I will miss you dearly paw paw. I love you. "little katie"

The Final Salute
“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.
This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Julius G. Page our “Brother-in-Arms”. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Julius. And to Julius it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country during WW-II while serving in the U.S. Army. Julius, you are a true patriot, who served with honor and distinction. You upheld the finest qualities of an American patriot warrior: courage, commitment, generosity, sacrifice, love and devotion to family and country. We bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at Ease. Rest in Peace.
On behalf of the 1,261 military veteran Legionnaires of Lowe-McFarlane Post 14 of the American Legion and the 233 veterans of VFW Post 2238 in Shreveport, Louisiana, we extend our sympathies and our condolences to Julius' family and loved ones.
