Arthur "Woody" Harbin

KEITHVILLE, LA- Funeral services for Arthur "Woody" Harbin, 69, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2012 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Joe Sherwin. Interment will follow in NW Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Keithville. Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Woody was born in Dallas, TX on October 4, 1943 to Arthur and Margaret Harbin. He passed away in Shreveport on November 14, 2012. He was a resident of Keithville and retired as a MSGT from the U.S. Air Force. Woody was an avid fisherman and enjoyed woodworking. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Edna Harben and Cleva Shankles, niece, Donna Keene. Woody is survived by his wife, Connie Harbin and his former wife, Jean Jackson; son, Kevin Harbin (Terry); daughters, Christine Crisp (Chad) Jamie Cromer (Michael); grandchildren, Sean, Megan, Nicole, Daylyn, Gabriel, Alyssa, Andrew, Stone, Evey, Emma, Micah and special granddaughter, Lauren; special nieces, Kathleen Harben-Stone and Cathy Dunham.

Pallbearers will be Don Cobb, Joe McCurry, Andy Stone, Michael Cromer, Chad Crisp and Steven Keene.

Memorials may be made to the Louisiana War Veterans Home, 3130 Arthur Ray Teague Parkway, Bossier City, LA 71112.
