SHREVEPORT, LA - A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 8, 2013, at 11:00am in the chapel of Broadmoor Baptist Church for Debra Ann "Debby" White Simmons. She passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013, in Reston, Virginia. Dr. Larry Williams will officiate at the service.

Debra was married to Colonel Christopher Simmons, United States Army of Purcellville, Virginia.

Debra was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Morris D. White.

She is survived by her three sons; Dave, Dan, and Thomas Terral; mother, Mrs. Becky Cook of West Monroe; brother, Dan White (Melissa) of Haslet, Texas; her nieces and nephew, Sarah Grace, Emma Kate, and Jacob White; Aunt, Margaret Ann Ward and Cousins, Bo Hooper and Leslie Roche.

Debra grew up in Shreveport and attended First Baptist Church School from kindergarten through twelfth grade. She was a member of the last graduating class of the school. After high school she attended Louisiana Tech from 1985-1989. She will be laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery.
