Mildred, otherwise known as "Put" to friends and family, was born in 1923. Early in life she met her husband of fifty plus years, the late Buford Joffrion. "Put" retired as Post Master of Keithville. She enjoyed gardening, especially red roses, and sewing for others. As the matriarch and rock of the family, she will be greatly missed.

Each of whom brought great joy to her later years. Surviving siblings include Jayne Braselton, Sam Hall and Ann Black. Special people in her life she wished to include as family are Ray Riser (now deceased), Jeanne Riser, Rachel Riser, and Rebecca (Riser) Childress.
