Robert Huck Jr., 42 died suddenly of a heart attack on, Thursday, February 14, 2013 in Harrisburg, PA. He was the husband of Kelley M (Dixon) Huck. The couple married on July 12, 2012. Bobby was born in Shreveport, LA on March 6, 1970. He was a very devoted and loving husband to Kelley and son to Robert and Marilyn (Franks) Huck.
A private family viewing will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Family friends are invited to attend a viewing from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA 71108. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2013 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.
Bobby was a former owner of Pizza King on Kings Highway and Mia's Bar on Market St. Also he was instrumental in opening the Phoenix Underground Club with his younger brother, Tim. Currently Bobby was acting as manager with the family business, Pop-A-Lock of Lancaster, York and Harrisburg PA. He trained in martial arts in California and holds a Black Belt. He was a huge fan of Rugby and supported the Shreveport Rugby Team.
As a young teenager he was selected by the Loyal Order of the Moose to attend the 1st Youth Congress held at Mooseheart in Illinois and then later appointed as a representative of Moose Youth Council. Bobby was the kind of person who would "give the shirt off his back" to help someone. Bobby was a happy go lucky guy who would listen to any and all who needed to talk with a very sympathetic ear.
Left to cherish beautiful memories of Bobby is his wife Kelly; his parents, Robert and Marilyn Huck of Dallastown, PA; a son, Robert Joshua Huck of Ruston, LA; a daughter, Marilyn Sophia Huck of Benton, LA; two brothers, William (Billy) Huck of Dallastown, PA and Timothy (Tim) Huck and wife Mary of Bossier City, LA; one sister Anna (Huck) Davis of Benton, LA and an adopted sister, Janet Winsinger of Shreveport, LA. He is also survived by his maternal grandfather, Edward R Franks Sr. and wife Mary; 10 nieces and nephews; a great niece, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, with an abundance of friends both in Louisiana and Pennsylvania.
He is preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Mary Lou (Hanson) Franks, and paternal grandparents.
Honorary Pallbearers will be his friends: Gary White, Van Cox, Johnny Adams, Keith Weinsheimer, Steve Floyd and John Cush.
