He was the Comptroller for the Piggly Wiggly Warehouse from 1967 to 1975. Also in 1975 he began the first of 30 years of service with the City of Shreveport. Most recently, he was an Administrative Assistant in the Department of Finance. Bill's sense of humor and penchant for playing practical jokes on his friends and co-workers was legendary. He was generous to a fault, and when there was a need, he never failed to give more than his share. He was a gourmet cook and enjoyed antiques, music, traveling and flower gardening. He loved the innocence of children and the beauty of art and nature.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of NurseCare in Shreveport for Bill's excellent care.
