BOSSIER CITY, LA - Mrs. Marjorie "Mickey" Copp, 87, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2011 in Princeton, TX after a lengthy illness. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 27, at Osborn Funeral Home. Graveside services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 28, 2011 at Forest Park Cemetery-East. Officiating will be Pastor Sig Kunz of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Mickey was a resident of Bossier City, LA for 72 years. She was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Bossier City. She taught Sunday School and served in many other ministries. Her delight was in mentoring younger women.

Mickey was preceded in death by her husband, William Copp, Sr.; son, Chris Copp; parents, Roy and Ruby Wilkes; and sister, Francis Wilkes. She is survived by her son, Jimmy Copp and wife, Becky of Princeton, TX; sister, Cheire W. Norwood of Shreveport, LA; niece, Teri Sokolowski, of Cleveland, OH; grandchildren, Heather Candee and Synna Kent, Bobby Joe, Billy Ray, Tommy, and Donnie Palmertree; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Villa Asuncion Independent and Assisted Living Center in Princeton, TX and Vitas Hospice.

We are so sorry about your loss. Your Mother was a great lady - always smiling and helping others. Mickey walked with God everyday and took joy in spreading His word with others. We will never forget the love she showed us at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Your family is in our prayers.
