Wilma Houghton Obituary
Ringgold, LA - Memorial services for Wilma Maxine Houghton, 81, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Millcreek Baptist Church in Ringgold, LA.
Mrs. Houghton was born on May 11, 1930 and passed away at Willis Knighton Pierremont Health Care in Shreveport, LA on February 5, 2012 after a lengthy illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Jewell Mitchell and her daughter Nadine Carty.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 59 years, William I. Houghton of Ringgold, LA; two sons, James W. Houghton of Houston, TX and Charles R. Houghton, Sr. of Chelsey, OK; son-in-law, David Carty; two grandsons, William Carty and Charles R. Houghton, Jr.; a special granddaughter and companion, Cynthia Marie Houghton; 4 great grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
