Jerry Wayne Haynes

Minden, LA Jerry Wayne Haynes, beloved husband, father, P-Pop, and friend went to be with his Lord on Thursday, March 27, 2014. Visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Saturday, March 29 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, March 30 at First Baptist Church, Minden, LA. Officiating will be Brother Bill Crider and Brother Leland Crawford. Interment will follow at Old Minden Cemetery. Jerry was born in Minden, Louisiana on January 4, 1952. Graduated Minden High School before attending Northeast Louisiana University where he earned Bachelors in Pharmacy. He later married his beloved wife Angela Brumfield Haynes. They enjoyed 30 years of marriage.He was preceded in death by his father, O. H. Haynes, Jr.; and brother Freddie Lynn Haynes, niece, Melissa Brumfield and great-nephew Stanton Haynes. He is survived by his mother, Freddie Louise "Sug"; brothers O.H. and Gary; wife Angie; his sons, Ronald and wife Michelle and their children Lauren and Hazel; J. W. Haynes, Jr. and his children Bella, Harlow and Laela; daughters Amber and husband Wesley Mandino and their children Haynes and Maddox; Angel Haynes and her daughters Ava and Aubreigh. He had many dear nieces and nephews.He was a member of Louisiana High School Official Association as an umpire of girls softball and for Dixie Youth baseball for 20 years. The family extends their deepest thanks and gratitude to Walter and Libby Ledig and staff of Town & Country, staff of Minden Medical Center, Dr. Max Stell, Brint Fegley, NP and Gamble Hospice. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Honoring Jerry as pallbearers will be Hank, Jeff, Walker, Dakota, Hayden and Coltan Haynes. Serving as honorary pallbearers Paul Kitchens' Thursday Night Study Group.God and his family were most important to him. He will be missed.
