Sonny's name comes up in many of the conversations we have when reminiscing about years past. He was a big part of our lives at one time and memorable at that. We are very sorry for your loss... He was an unforgettable man with a huge personality that not many will forget after their first meeting with him. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

I first met Sonny in 1970. Over the past 47 years, he was my mentor, special friend and became like a brother to me. We shared a special bond with many memories I will always cherish, particularly our annual New Year's Eve dinners and many hunting and fishing trips. I will never forget when he called and invited me to go hunt nelgai with him at King Ranch. I replied, "What kind of duck is that?" He laughed and told me it wasn't a duck - it was actually a large exotic animal that someone tried to cross with cattle. We had a good hunt and an enjoyable time together as usual. Our friendship was special. Unfortunately, I am unable to attend the memorial service, but I send my deepest sympathies to Linda, Dan, Joanie, Beverly and Patrick. "Chief" will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
