Sandra Bolton Obituary
SHREVEPORT, LA - Services for Sandra Walker Bolton will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 1, 2010, in the Chapel of Osborn Funeral Home, with Dr. Tom Harrison officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31st at Osborn Funeral Home.
Sandra was born on January 18, 1941, in Pleasant Hill, LA and went to the Lord on March 29, 2010 after a brief battle with lung cancer. She is survived by her husband, Albert Martin Bolton of Shreveport with whom she would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 2nd; son, Albert Martin Bolton, Jr. of Haslet, TX; daughter, Amanda Jane Bolton of Albuquerque, NM; son, Ryan Walker Bolton and his wife, Angela of Shreveport; grandchildren, Andrew and Matthew Bolton of Haslet, TX and Walker, Ella and Keith Bolton of Shreveport; sisters, Gale Whalen and her husband, Dan Praytor of Shreveport and Sallie Lee and her husband, Sam of Shreveport; nieces, Linda McBee and Laura Lee; and nephew Trey Lee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester J. Walker, Jr. and Nora Walker of Ajax, LA; brother, Chester J. Walker, III; niece, Sandra Claire Whalen; and her beloved dogs, Cricket, Boo, Shadow and Jazzy.
Honoring Sandra as pallbearers will be Andrew Bolton, Matthew Bolton, Sam Lee, James Thompson, Michael Sullivan, Reginald McBee and Trey Lee. Honorary pallbearer will be Dan Praytor.
Her family wishes to give a special thank you to Deborah Sutton, Twyla Cooper and Callie Mandigo of Louisiana Care Tenders, the staff of Harmony Life Hospice and special friend Nancy Bosley. OSBORNFUNERALHOME.NET
