Charleen A. Bonnette
Charleen A. Bonnette, 66, of Benton, LA passed away at her home on November 21st in Benton.
Visitation will be held at Boone Funeral Home on Airline Dr. on November 24th at 6:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be held at Boone Funeral Home on November 25th at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Tim Dye of Central Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery in Coushatta, LA. Boones Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.
Charleen was born in Providence, Rhode Island to George and Virginia Rodgers on June 27, 1948. She was primarily a home maker and travel companion for her loving husband. She enjoyed farming, cooking, fishing, and spending as much quality time with her family as possible and kept a room open for anyone that needed a place to sleep for a little while.
Charleen is preceded in death by her father George Rodgers and her mother Virginia Granier.
Charleen is survived by her husband of 27 years, Troy F. Bonnette. She has three siblings: George Rodgers and wife Diane, Mike Rodgers, and Donna Sherlock and husband Bill. She has three children: Gordon C. Stavig and wife Sheila, Michael J. Stavig and Troy L. Bonnette wife Stephanie. She was very proud of her grandchildren: Daykota Calhoun, Kameron Bonnette, Riley Bonnette, Tristin Stavig, Kerri Ann Stavig, Trey Stavig, Patience Bohannon, Ashley Stavig, AJ Stavig, and Tori Stavig. She also has four great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a vast amount of friends.
The family would like to mention a special thank you to the extended family and great friends including Jenny and David Bannister, Glory Siau, Bert and Buddy Lindsey, Dr Veluvolu with Willis Knighton Cancer Treatment Center, nurse Tiffany Mayfield with Hospice, Donna and Clayton Alexander, Annette and Gary Humphries, Alicia Gorman, Laura Cooper, Danielle Avant, Holli Little, Pam and Rod Haydell, Frankie and Louie Hostetler, Paul Lindsey, Stephanie Gafford, and so many more…
