David Benjamin Harrison

MAGNOLIA, AR - David Benjamin Harrison, age 79, of Magnolia, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014. Mr. Harrison was born August 4, 1934, to Louis and Ever Harrison in Stamps, Arkansas. He was a Navy Veteran, retired from Louisiana Army Ammunition Plant and a graduate of Stamps High School.

Mr. Harrison was preceded in death his parents; his wife, Dr. Betty Carolyn Cook Harrison; son, Jerry David Harrison; brother, Ervin Lewis "Buddy" Harrison; and sister, Marie Downs.

He is survived by his daughter, Phyllis Harrison Bennett and husband, William Charles of Magnolia, AR; sister, Susie Brantley of Sibley, LA; grandchildren, Paul David Bennett of Columbus, GA, and Lynley Nicole Bennett of Magnolia, AR; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR with Bro. Joe Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bluff City, AR. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
