Doyle Gene Harden
SHREVEPORT, LA- Memorial services for Doyle Gene Harden, 83, will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Chris Wilbur. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Harden was born in Cordell, Oklahoma, on August 27, 1929 and passed away on March 31, 2013 in Shreveport, LA. His family moved to Pasadena, TX in 1942 where he graduated from high school. After serving in the U.S. Air Force for four years, he began a career in broadcasting. He was an announcer and program manager for Shreveport's beautiful music radio station, KCOZ (Cozy) FM radio station.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Harden. Other survivors include his sister, Joyce Pedersen of Oklahoma City, a daughter, Sharon Marshall of Tucson, AZ; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
