To the family and friends of James Knight:

I am sorry to here about your loss. I enjoyed working with James in Allentown, Pa; The things that I most remember about James was his sincereness, caring, and fairness toward others. He always seemed to see the best in people. I will always be grateful for the opportunity he gave me in creating a supervisor position because he felt I worked hard enough and deserved it. May God bless the ones you left behind and keep you safe and by his side.....Ron

James made several contributions to Louisville International Executive Staff meetings held monthly for the airport/airlines managers council. He was missed when he retired from Delta Air Lines. James always had a good story and kept the council entertained. Good by good buddy. All of your SDF friends will miss you!

We are shocked and saddened at the news of James' passing. We considered him a wonderful friend during his years here in Louisville and will miss his engaging smile, quick wit and personality, and, of course, a skill at hosting parties second to none. He will certainly leave a whole in the lives of all that he touched but leaves us with fond memories that can only bring smiles of our times together. We reach out to his family with prayers of comfort and love.

Life is a precious gift, once shared, it remains in our hearts forever. Chubby was my first friend when I moved here from Ga. We were only 10yrs old and we would ride our bikes to the Pack-a-sack. Seems so long ago. We made alot of memories along the way and he is going to be greatly missed by so many of us. The class of 1968 was very special in so many ways. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
