SHREVEPORT, LA - Jesse "Albert" Hinson, age 65, a traveler went to search of more light on Monday, February 21, 2011. Born June 15, 1945, and a lifelong resident of Hall Summit and Shreveport.

Albert was a Past Master of Southern Hills Lodge #464, Shreveport, LA, Conly Lodge #241, Hall Summit, LA, Cedar Grove Lodge #403, Shreveport, LA and Landmark Lodge in Keithville. He was a Past High Priest of 2 different Royal Arch Chapters?Queensborough Chapter #97 and Southern Hills Chapter #103, both of Shreveport. He was also a member of Shreveport Council #23 and Ascension Commandery #6, both of Shreveport, as well as El Karubah Shrine. He was a faithful Christian and attended Calvary Baptist Church.

His hobby was fishing, hunting, going down to the country on his land and ride around to look and listen to the birds singing and enjoying God's creations.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Jesse Albert Hinson, Jr., daughter-in-law Betty, 2 grandchildren, Allen Hinson and Natalie Butler, sisters Virginia Pixley and husband Buddy and Ida Bell Ramsey as well as a host of friends and Masonic Brothers. We cherish him in our hearts and commend his Spirit to the Light of God the Great Architect who gave it.

Arrangements will be held by Forest Park Funeral Home, 1201 Louisiana Ave, where the family will receive friends from 5pm til 7pm, Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Services will be Thursday, February 24th at the funeral home chapel. Masonic Committal will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Bienville Parish.

Honoring Albert as honorary pallbearers will be his brothers in the Masonic Lodge.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to one of the Masonic Lodges.
