Margaret Anfinson Obituary
Margaret Charlene

Shreveport, LA - Margaret Charlene Anfinson, "Me-Momma", 77, fell into our Lord and Savior's open arms on Friday, September 27, 2013. Heaven is rejoicing her arrival and she is singing songs of praise! A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, October 1, 2013 in the chapel of Osborn Funeral Home with visitation scheduled from 5:00PM - 7:00PM on Monday, September 30, 2013. Interment will follow at Forest Park West in Shreveport. Officiating will be Brother R. K. Young of Indian Hills Baptist Church in Shreveport.

Mrs. Anfinson was born on October 19, 1935 in Bruce, Mississippi. She moved to Louisiana shortly after marrying her husband of over 50 years, Terrance "Terry" Anfinson of Minot, North Dakota. She retired from Ark-La-Gas and was the ultimate wife, mother and friend. She took pride in her family, her home and her cooking. She was a strong Mississippi girl who could cook southern food like no other. She was an avid bridge player and achieved her "Life Master" designation of which she was proud of. She never met a stranger...anyone who had the fortune of meeting her, loved her right away. She was beautiful inside and out…she had a heart of gold and would help anyone in any way she could. She never put herself ahead of anyone else. She cherished her family and friends, near and far. She loved them with all she had and they loved her.

She was welcomed home by her parents, Forrest and Corrine Massey; her sister, Betty Morehead; brothers-in-law Douglas Anderson and Hayes Young; and her loving husband, Terry Anfinson. She is survived by two sisters, Geraldine Clark (Billy Van) of Bruce, MS and Helen Anderson of Houston, MS; two beloved sons, Craig Anfinson and wife Mischelle, Doug Anfinson and wife, Rhonda; and her precious daughter, Sabrina Lonadier and husband, James. She had seven adoring grandchildren; Kayleigh Burt Larkin (Patrick), Leigh James (Rachel); Donovan James (Courtney); Brandy Bailey (Brian); Wesley-David Beshea (Joannah); Cali Beshea; Taylor Anfinson (Stephanie) and eleven sweet great-grandchildren; Pamela James, Caedon James, Caelob James (Cohen James on the way); Gabriela Guasch, Kaitlyn Bailey, Bryce Bailey; Luke James; Wesley-David Beshea, Jr., Carmen Cunningham, Caden Cunningham and…one very special Carter Owen Anfinson who received the best birthday gift of all….his own guardian angel on his first birthday.

Pallbearers will be Leigh James, Donovan James, Wesley-David Beshea, Taylor Anfinson, Winnon Clark and Chad Clark. Honorary Pallbearers will be Patrick Larkin, Brian Bailey, Mario Guasch, George Hall, J. R. Burt and Charles Richardson.

The family would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Michael Schwalke, Dr. Robert Nickelson, Dr. Lane Rosen, Dr. David T. Henry, and their staffs as well as everyone at Colonial Oaks Guest Care. Thank you to everyone who has continually prayed for her and our family during this difficult time. May God bless you all. Please support and the as we must find a cure in our lifetime.
