FRIERSON, LA - Services for Ora Lee Brokenberry Howard, 82, of Frierson, LA will be held at 10:00 AM at Mt. Mariah Baptist Church. Officiating will be Pastor Frederick Fuller. Burial will be at the Mariah Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7:00-8:00 PM at the Mt. Mariah Baptist Church, Kingston, LA. She departed this life on May 30, 2011 at Lifecare in Shreveport, LA surrounded by her children and friends. She was preceded in death her first husband, John Brokenberry and great grandson, Phillip Samuel Robinson.
Her memory will forever be cherished by her husband, Welford Howard; children - Millie Samuels (I. B.), John Brokenberry (Mary), Floyd Brokenberry (Eddie), Armentha Douglas of Dallas, TX, Larry Brokenberry (Janet), Tonnette Scott (Edwin), and Curley Giles (Jewel) of Terrell, TX; a granddaughter reared as one of her children, Ebone Johnson; 21 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren, a special devoted friend, Ida Mae Clark (James), and a host of relatives and friends.
