BENTON, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Shirley Pittman-Chandler, 74, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with interment to follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Brother Billy Pierce will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Shirley was a member of Cypress Baptist Church and Palmetto Country Club where she loved to golf. She was with Redstone Security for 27 years where she was a part of 3 generations of Robert E. Redstone.
Her late husband, Bill Pittman; father, James Logan; her mother, Lena Logan; and sister, Barbara Forsythe, preceded Shirley in death.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Lou Chandler; children, Cyndee and Benny Fortenberry; Bill and Wendy Pittman; LeAnn and Jay Thomas; stepchildren, Dottie Chandler Prock, Diane Chandler Moore; Lou Chandler, Jr., Bubba Chandler, Tommy Chandler and Red Chandler; 27 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Honoring her as pallbearers will be Mark Fortenberry, Doug Fortenberry, David Fortenberry, Chase Crowder, Taylor Pittman and Nick Thomas.
Honorary pallbearers will be Landon Pittman, Brent Burnham and Jonathan Romine.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Promise Hospital.
