Haynesville, LA: Funeral services for W. Royce Rainey will be held at 10:00 AM Tues, March 12, 2013 at Ruple Baptist Church, where Royce served as Minister of Music and deacon. Interment will be at Ruple Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday March 11, 2013 at Rose Neath Funeral Home, Homer LA from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Royce was born on Oct. 24, 1938 and passed away on March 9, 2013 after a short illness. Royce was a loving husband, dad and granddad, better known to his family as "Honey". Royce had a never ending love for his family, but Royce's true love was for Christ. Royce was an avid Haynesville Golden Tornado fan, Dallas Cowboy fan, and golfer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, E.G. and Lillie Rainey. He is survived by wife, Brenda Tinsley Rainey, Daughter and Son-In-Law, Diana & Joey Canterbury and grandsons, Chris and Clay Canterbury, all of Haynesville. Brother and wife Gorman and Shirlene Rainey. Brother in law and wife, Leroy and Olarene Tinsley, Sister in law and husband, Billie Joyce and Ronnie Teague, Sister in law and husband Judy and Jack Bolt, Sister in law, Laura Tinsley, brother in law Louis Holman. Host of nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Dr. Michael Teague, Dr. Clint Teague, Jesse Baskin, Poley Guinn, Speedy Hollan and childhood friend Morris Sewell.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Ruple Baptist Church, Haynesville Golden Tornado Stadium Renovation Fund, or the donors choice.
