MANY, LA - A life celebration for William A. "Billy" Wright, 63, of Many, LA, will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 2:00 PM at St. John's Catholic Church in Many, LA with Father Joe Martina officiating. Burial will follow in the St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Many, LA. Visitation will begin on, Tuesday, April 09, 2012 at 5:00 PM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Many, LA.

William A. "Billy" Wright was born on Monday, November 14, 1949 in Many, LA. He passed away on Saturday, April 06, 2013, after a brave battle with cancer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Yale and Rose A. Wright of Many, LA and niece, Jennifer Salley Hill.

He is survived by son, Dustin Wright and wife Anna Cate of Shreveport, LA; daughter, Shaina Rains and husband Clint of Keithville, LA; grandchildren, William Wright, Gracie Rains and Cash Rains; two brothers, Burton Wright of Leesville, LA and Charles (Hum) Wright of Austin, TX; three sisters, Beverly Salley and husband Carroll of Many, LA; Vicki Schnabel and husband Doug of Nashville, TN and Lorriane Ammons and husband David of Baton Rouge, LA along with many nieces and nephews whom he all loved dearly.

Honoring Billy as pallbearers will be Andrew Hill, Robert Salley, Blake Ammons, Timm McCormic, Chance Hall, Doug Abington and Shannon Dyess.

Honorary pallbearer will be Kody Deloach.

Billy was a decorated US Army Vietnam Veteran. He loved his family greatly and was a very good and loyal friend to all who knew him. He enjoyed horses, hunting, fishing, and social gatherings. He was a good samaritan throughout the parish, helping any and all that crossed his path who were in need. He had a style and humor that will be greatly missed and will forever be remembered in many hearts.

The Wright family would like to express their gratitude to all the doctors and nurses for their loving care and compassion during his illness.
