William Walter (Walt) Nolan
COUSHATTA, LA-Memorial services for William Walter (Walt) Nolan, 56, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home Chapel in Coushatta, Louisiana with Bro. Nathan Davis officiating. He was born December 26, 1956 in Dallas, Texas. Walt passed away peacefully in his sleep from the arms of his loving family to the arms of his loving Lord on January 1, 2013 in Dallas, Texas.
Walt graduated from Southfield High School where he played football, baseball, and basketball. He also attended Centenary College where he was a legacy of Kappa Sig fraternity. He worked as a supervisor for a road construction company and later on in real estate. Walt loved to fish and be in the outdoors. His long term companion was a German Shepherd named Cajun.
Walt is survived by his father, William Earl Nolan; his sister Julie Nolan Loker; his brothers, John Charles Nolan and Joseph Lowell (Sparky) Nolan; Amy and Eric Drabwell; cousins and numerous loving family and friends. Walt has joined his precious mother, Barbara DeMoss Nolan where she no doubtably was waiting with loving arms!
