Michael Curtis Baker

STONEWALL, LA- Funeral service for Michael Curtis Baker, 60, will be held Wednesday March 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Salem Baptist Church in Stonewall. Officiating will be Rev. Stan McGee and Chaplain Rob Baker. Interment will follow in Stonewall Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel.

Michael was born in Shreveport on August 25, 1953 to Robert and Nan Ellen Baker and passed away on March 10, 2014. He was a resident of Stonewall and a retired farmer. He was a member of Living Water Worship Center. He enjoyed working on his farm with his tractors and he also enjoyed fishing.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Scriven Baker; grandparents, Joe and Huldah Baker, and Illa and Curtis McCune. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Kay Anderson Baker; mother, Nan Ellen McCune Baker; son: Jody Baker; daughter Elizabeth Baker Patterson and husband, Rodney; grandchildren, Madalyn, Jacob, Emily and Hannah; brother, Robert Baker and wife, Beverly; sister, Rebecca Tims and husband, Bobby.

Honoring Michael as pallbearers will be Barry Dyson, Lance Parker, Robert Anderson, John Thompson, Chris Baker, and Joe Thomas. Honorary pallbearers are Billy Roach, Pat Loftus and Johnny Hasty.
