Marie Caskey

HAUGHTON, LA - For the love and care that she has given to us all, we celebrate and honor the life of Marie Caskey. She was born on December 13, 1937, in Boston, Massachusetts. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 14, 2014.

She was married many, many years to her best friend and loving husband, Ray Caskey. She shared her life with her children Sandy Caskey Kennemer, Debbie Caskey Ball, Buddy Caskey, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who all adored her.

Marie was engaged in wellness activities at Fitness Lady, taught literacy to adults and children, and loved to write poetry. She was a graceful and accomplished ballerina, and also taught ballet, tap, jazz, and acrobatics.

Visitation will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home on March 16, 2014, Sunday, from 5 pm to 7 pm. Marie has been a long time member of First Baptist Church of Haughton where the service will be held on March 17, 2014, Monday at 10 am. Interment will be held at Haughton Cemetery immediately following the service.

The family would like to express our gratitude for all the prayers and a special thank you to the wonderful ladies at T.O.P.S., who provided Marie with years of fun, friendship, and fellowship.
