Chester William Langford
STONEWALL, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of Chester William Langford, 75, will be held at 12 noon Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Paul Navarre. Interment will follow in Forest Park St. Vincent Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday March 21, 2014 at the funeral home.
Chester was born on March 11, 1939 in Hamburg, AR and passed away on March 19, 2014 in Shreveport. He was a resident of Stonewall and retired from L.E. Myers Electrical Contractor as a truck driver. Chester enjoyed spending time outdoors and working in his yard, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mattie Bell Langford Austin and William Howard Langford. He is survived by his wife, Imogene "Jean" Langford; son, Jason Langford and wife, Shelly; daughters, Cheryl Cochran, Kimberly Jack, Lori Eubanks and husband, Charlie; grandchildren, Jessica, Dillon and Blake Langford, William Trahan, Chip and Austin Eubanks, Michael Trahan, Cierra and Jasmine Jack, Jennifer, Katelyn, Sarah and Wayne Cochran; and Seth Stoker considered as a grandson; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Aubrey Langford; sisters, Irene Muse, Shirley Magill, Rita Sirman, Joyce Carpenter, Ellen Stahl, and Ann Langford.
Pallbearers will be William Trahan, Chip Eubanks, Austin Eubanks, Dillon Langford, Blake Langford and Wayne Cochran.
