Richard Lee Scott

Zwolle, LA Richard Lee Scott was born November 15, 1946 in Shreveport, LA . He went to be with his Lord April 10, 2014. His parents were Monroe and Dorothy Scott.

Richard worked as an electrician at Camus Electric for 34 years. He loved hunting and fishing and was an avid LSU fan. Richard was a Deacon and a Gideon at his church, Kingston Road Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Surviving Richard is his wife of 35 years, Donna Scott; daughters, Larissa S. Koll and Brian Koll, Stacy Walters and husband Jason, and Kristi S. Dukes and husband Darien; son Robert Elkins and wife Vera; grandchildren, Hunter Acker, Breanne Dukes, Gavin Dukes, Addison Koll and Piper Koll; a sister, Mary Cleo Childs; brother, Bobby Scott and wife Jean; other relatives and a host of friends.

A service will be held Monday, April 14, 2014 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA at 10:00 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Woody Janise and Rev. Tom Howe. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, April 13, 2014 from 5 PM until 7 PM at the funeral home.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the Grace Home, Willis Knighton North, 4 east Staff, Willis Knighton Cancer Center, Dr. Corky Davis and Dr. Matriano-Lim for their expert care.
