Linda Gayle Elder Taylor

SHREVEPORT, LA- A celebration for the life of Linda Gayle Elder Taylor, 65, will be at Linda's favorite place to eat, El Chico's Restaurant, 2127 Greenwood Rd., Shreveport, LA, May 3, 2014 at 3:30 p.m.

Linda was always full of life, was a single mother that worked hard to raise two boys alone. Through good times and bad times she always had a smile on her face, made sure there was food on the table, clothes on their backs, and a roof over their heads. She loved her sons, her family, her friends, and will be missed by all. With her outgoing and generous nature she never had a problem turning strangers into friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Patrick Humphrey, and Michael Taylor; sister, Debbie Frazier and the Frazier family; nieces, Shelly Phillips, Vickie Jacobson; and Nana to Katie.

The Taylor and Humphrey family would like to extend their special thanks the CPSO family for their support. Special thanks also go out to the family of Michael Labban, and the Thrifty Liquor family where she worked for over ten years. During that time she became the first female Manager.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest that donations be made in her name to the , PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718
