Irma Lee Davis Harper

SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Irma Lee Davis Harper, 85, will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Father Michael Than'wa and Pastor Isadore Davis. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 12, 2014 at the funeral home.

Irma was born to James and Alice on August 11, 1928 in Robeline, Louisiana. She went on to be with our Lord on May 10, 2014. She had nothing but kindness for everyone she ever met. She was a seamstress and loved to cross-stitch.

She is preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memories are her children, Patricia Loftin and husband, Bruce, Shelby Harper and wife, Nedra, Shirley Roy, Dianna Farasy and husband, Bill, Lisa Mack and husband, Brian; 3 sisters; Effie Patrick and husband Bryce, Mary Page and husband Dewey and Peggy LaCaze and husband Dennis one brother; Joe Davis and wife Pat, 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the Live Oak Staff and Hospice team for such great care during this time.
