Don S. "Timber" Forrest

Don S. "Timber" Forrest, of Longview, TX, passed away July 4, 2014. He was born in Big Springs, TX on February 25, 1936 to Faye and Arlo Forrest. Timber served in the US Army as a Paratrooper from 1955-1958. He graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a Bachelors in Business Administration. He is survived by his wife Margie Neill Forrest; and his daughters Martha Forrest Weant and husband Danny of Hallsville, and Maribeth Forrest of Shreveport; two grandsons, Justin Weant and wife Megan of Hallsville, and Nathan Weant of Hallsville; and his sister Marijann Holmes and husband George of Bullard. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm, July 19th at Rader Funeral Home. Donations may be sent to Heart to Heart Hospice of Longview or Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
