She, friends and colleagues Jo Cazes and Amy Simon brought Science Olympiad teams to Nationals 6 years in a row. Norma's legacy are her three children who loved and adored her until the end. She will be remembered by those who knew and loved her as a "Teacher, in school as well as in life, as a strong, independent, funny, and beautiful Cajun Lady". She could light up a room with her smile and brought a party where ever she went. Her favorite things were spending time with her family, especially her grandsons Mitchell and Matthew, traveling with her grandson Mitchell, her St. John Berchmans family and her friends at Summer Grove United Methodist Church where she was a member and Sunday school teacher.
