Shreveport, LA - Graveside services for Robbie Litton will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 11, 2014, at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent Ave. Visitation will take place Sunday, August 10 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. and again Monday morning from 9:15 until 10:15 a.m. at Osborn Funeral Home. The graveside service will be officiated by Reverend Conrad Edwards.

Robbie Litton passed away due to a sudden illness surrounded by family Thursday, August 7, 2014, at Christus-Schumpert Highland. She was 87 years old. Born June 4, 1927, Robbie was born and spent most of her life in Shreveport. Robbie was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church. She graduated from C.E. Byrd High School and attended Centenary College, where she was a member of the ZTA sorority. She retired from the City of Shreveport Department of Water and Sewerage. She raised five children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Howard Pardue and Marian Earle Christian Pardue; her siblings, Pauline Rachal, Bertha Fontaine, Howard Pardue, James Pardue, Caroline Shumate, Dr. Bickham Pardue, Grace Jones, Dr. Benjamin Pardue, Marian Hollingsworth and Lary Pardue; as well as her husband, Allen V. Litton; and her eldest daughter, Carroll McFadden Nash.

Robbie is survived by her children, Robert E. McFadden and his wife, Jody of Houston, TX, Mark H. McFadden and wife, Jackie of Arcanum, OH, William H. McFadden and wife, Kathryn and Mary Katherine Samper, and husband, Edward, both of Shreveport; as well as ten grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff of Village Health Care at The Glen for their wonderful care of Robbie over the past years.

In lieu of flowers the family recommends a donation to St. Jude Children's Hospital or The Shreveport Fire Department K-9 Search and Rescue Group at 2403 E. 70th St, Shreveport, LA 71105.
