Thaud Eugene Kierbow, Jr.

SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Thaud Eugene, Jr. will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday April 1, 2010 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Bro. W. D. "Step" Martin. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery with the U.S. Marine Corp Honor Guards. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at the funeral home.

Gene was born on July 4, 1925 in Mexia, TX to Era and Thaud Kierbow, Sr. He passed away on March 28, 2010 in Shreveport where he was a resident. He was retired from the trucking and construction industry. Gene proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp.

Preceding Gene in death were his beloved wife, Marion Bruce Kierbow, his parents and sister, Nita Harmon. He is survived by daughters, Debbie Galbraith and husband, John, Nancy Prunty and husband, Mark, Linda Sandefur and husband, Mark, and Brenda Parker; grandchildren, Brandon and Graeme Oxley, Wade and Justin Prunty, Brad and Blake Sandefur, Chad and Kelli Parker; great-granddaughter, Bella Sandefur; sisters, Dorothy Grady and husband, Ray, Betty Carter and husband, Medford and numerous nieces and nephews.

His loving grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
