Charles Seabaugh Obituary

COUSHATTA, LA - Graveside services for Charles Richard Seabaugh, Sr. will be held at 1 P.M. Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Union Hall Cemetery with Dr. Cliff Estes officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Charles was born November 14, 1932 and passed away at Willis-Knighton Pierremont October 31, 2010.
Charles retired from South Central Bell in June 1984 with 28 years of service. He was Supervisor of motor vehicles at South Central Bell. In 1990, Charles went to work as job coach at Red River Industries/Red River ARC in Coushatta, LA. He was loved by all the clients at the workshop. He retired from Red River Industries in 2000.
Charles was a loving husband, daddy, uncle and pawpaw. He enjoyed the deer camp, sitting around the fire pit telling tall tales, and cooking whatever anyone brought in. Charles will be missed by so many.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Albert C., Sr. and Lula Seabaugh, three brothers, Albert C. "Cotton" Seabaugh, Jr., Ralph Seabaugh and Robert Seabaugh; two sisters, Helen Seabaugh Roller and Marjorie Seabaugh Davis and his faithful companion, "Black Dog".
Leaving to cherish so many memories are his wife, Eletha Anne Seabaugh; daughter, Robin Seabaugh of Bossier City, LA; sons, Rick Seabaugh of Bossier City, LA and Royce Seabaugh of Dallas, TX; step-children, Ricky Dalme and his children, Randy and Gracie; Randy Dalme and his children, Memphis and Tessa; and Raina Anne Dalme and sisters-in-law, Thelma Gilcrease Seabaugh of Shreveport, LA and Janice Sloan and husband, Mark of San Antonio, TX.
Eletha and children would like to thank Dr. Wyche T. Coleman, Dr. Greg Bell, and Dr. Wise of Christus Coushatta, ICU doctors and staff at One St. Mary Place Christus Schumpert and Willis-Knighton Pierremont.
The family requests memorials be made to Red River Industries, P. O. Box 488, Coushatta, LA 71019.
