SHREVEPORT, LA - Sarah Claire Touchstone passed peacefully in the arms of her loving parents on Wednesday, September 7, 2011. During her one day here on Earth she touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends.

Sarah is the daughter of Rachel and Jack "Trey" Touchstone, Jr. of Shreveport, LA.

She was survived by her maternal grandparents, John and Laura Guedry; paternal grandparents, Jack and Donna Touchstone; Lucy & Randall Harris; aunts and uncles, Lauren Robert and husband, John, Joseph Guedry, Katy Touchstone, Amber Gupta and husband, Rahul, Alexa Carr, Owen Carr and Brandon Harris. She is also survived by her cousin, Lucille Robert and great-grandparents, Carmella Guedry; Kathryn and Jack Touchstone.

Our family would like to thank everyone for their support and prayers. Sarah gave us a lifetime of love during her short time on Earth. She is now a beautiful angel guiding us from Heaven. We would also like to express our gratitude to everyone we came in contact with at LSU-HSC, especially the doctors, nurses and staff of NICU. The compassion love and professionalism you displayed was amazing, you are now part of our family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made in Sarah's name to the LSU Health Sciences Foundation for the benefit of the Emergency Department or the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at LSU Health - Shreveport.

Visitation will be at The Cathedral of St. John Berchmans, Saturday, September 10, 2011, at 12:30 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Father Peter Mangum, pastor of St. John's Berchmans Catholic Church will be the Celebrant. Interment will be in Forest Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Joseph Guedry, John Robert, Garrett Kimbell, Rusty D'Anna & Carl Yoder. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Frankie Petitto and Dr. Ben Henderson.
