BOSSIER CITY, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Betty Frasier Stewart, 82, will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Thursday. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park, Haughton, LA.

Betty entered into rest Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was born in Minden, LA and resided in Doyline, LA for the majority of her life. Mrs. Stewart was an avid outdoorswoman who loved to hunt and fish, as well as just spending time with her family. She was also a taxidermist and contributed to the Touchstone Wildlife Museum.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Luther Alfred Stewart and daughter, Deborah Lynn Wilborn.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Leslie Stewart and wife, Mitzi of Kent, WA, Dwain Stewart and wife, Teresa of Blanchard, LA; brother, Don Frasier and wife, Ann of Minden, LA; grandchildren, Kyle, Jason and Brent Stewart, Kim Meek, Val, Christopher and Amber Wilborn, Misty Stroud and Rebecca Booth as well as 11 great grandchildren.

Honoring Mrs. Stewart as pallbearers will be Jason Stewart, Brent Stewart, Val Wilborn, Larry Lee, Jimmy Lee, and Marcus Meek.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to all of Mrs. Stewart's loving friends at Blanchard Seniors Apartments who did so much for her during her illness, and her most special friend, Mrs. Judy Heath of Blanchard, LA.
