Wanda Duke McDonald

Wanda McDonald went to be with the Lord on June 12, 2012. Celebration of life service will be held at First Baptist Church of Haughton on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. with Brother Gevan Spinney and Brother Melton Prothro officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 15, 2012 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Wanda was a member of First Baptist Church of Haughton and a member of The Faithful Sunday School Class. Wanda loved working in her flower garden, cooking, traveling, her church life and always meeting new people.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Golda Duschel and her sisters, Ola Faye Dowell and Lillian Ann Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Robert McDonald, son Gary Duke (Pam), two daughters: Rene' Mancuso (Glenn), and Gwen Hunt (Al), brother, Sonny Duschel (Betty), step-daughter, Cheryl Brown; seven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Kip and Trevor Montgomery, Jeffrey Duke, Jason Wilkerson, and great-grandsons, Caleb and Cheston Wilkerson.
