Brady Henderson

SHREVEPORT - Brady Henderson, born December 30, 1925, died November 22, 2012 at the age of 86. He served in the US Navy during World War II on the U.S.S Guam. He founded Ark-La-Tex Aluminum Awning Company in 1955. He was a Baptist and a charter member of Western Hills Baptist Church. He loved his family, friends, and gardening. He was one of the hardest working men his friends and family have ever known. He will be greatly missed by the ones who knew him.

Brady is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jerrylene Henderson and their five children: Regina Dockens, Earnest Welch and wife Janice, Nelda Henderson, David Henderson and wife Dorothy, Cindy Haley and husband Randy, 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is under the direction of Osborn Funeral Home from 4 pm to 6 pm on Sunday, November 25, 2012. Services will be on Monday, November 26, 2012 at 1 pm in the chapel of Osborn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Officiating will be Bro. Charles T. Hunt of Longview, Texas.

Pallbearers are Mark Pittman, Walt Buckmaster, Brady Wheeler, Brady Henderson, Devon Henderson, Thomas Sewell, Earnie Welch, and Eliot Welch. Honorary pallbearers are Clem Vaught and Ralph Zimmerman.
