Sharon K. Knotts

Doyline, LA Sharon K. Knotts, 57, of Doyline, was born September 11, 1955 in Ringgold and passed away suddenly due to motor vehicle accident, December 13, 2012 in Minden.

She was preceded in death by her parents Billy and Laura Knotts, Carmen Grady, who was like her daughter and a special friend Sue McDowell.

She is survived by her daughter and best friend her whole life, Ashley DeAnn Knotts Wallace and son-in-law Brian Wallace, nephew, Jeremy Salter who was like a son to her, sisters, Kathy Booth and husband Woody of West Monroe, Peggy Crouch and husband Dave of Keithville, Dolly Salter and husband Gary of Shreveport, nieces, Angie Richards and husband Dewey, and Kourtney Salter, great nieces and nephews, Taylar and Peyton Page, Gage Richards, Madison, Riley, and Zach Salter and lifelong best friend Becky (Becca) Shelley Sherrard. Sharon will be missed by her grand pets; Harley, Rebel, and Tiggo.

Sharon was an employee of Kilpatrick Life Insurance Company for the last 16 years. She was known as the neighborhood Mom to so many in Doyline.

Services will be held Monday, December 17, 2012 at 2p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, officiated by Bro. Gerald Palmer. Burial will follow at Lane Memorial Cemetery in Sibley. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Poole, Gary Sherrard, Ed McDowell, Randy Shelley, Tommy Grady, Timmy Giddings, John Gates, and James Gibson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Shane Harris, Justin Harris, and Casey Harris.
