Audrey was a member of Shreve City Baptist Church and enjoyed bowling, planting flowers, and spending time with family. When we think of Audrey, it is her commitment to the Lord and her family and friends that we think of first. The words that come to mind include: independence, courage, generosity, sensitivity, whimsy, strength and of course, the word "life" itself. We could talk for hours of her remarkable independence, including, her decision to go to work while raising a handicap child is just one example of not only her independence and determination, but also, of her courage. And, of course, her desire to live alone in her own home and drive her own vehicle for so many years. Her sense of strength was never so tested nor so well demonstrated as in the final weeks and days of her life. Even with a body riddled with sickness, she still fought with courage and a sense of toughness which was awe inspiring. She will live on in our memories and hearts forever and we will always be extremely proud to call ourselves the son, daughter, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchild, or great-grandchild of Audrey Magee Vincent-Jones, also, affectionately known as Nana.

Audrey is survived by three sons, Ronnie Lee Jones and wife, Debbie of Slidell, LA; David Lynn Jones and wife, Tina of Dallas, TX; Harold Wayne Jones and wife, Kim of Grand Cane, LA; three daughters, Frances Elaine Jones of Bossier City, LA; Linda Sue Crigler and husband, Dennis of Kennesaw, GA; and Cheryl Ann Anderson and husband, David of Ruston, LA; fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
