SHREVEPORT, LA - Memorial services for Raymond A. Sanderlin (Al) will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, February 25, 2013 at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Keithville. Services will be conducted by Rev. Conrad Edwards of the Broadmoor United Methodist Church, where Al was a longstanding member.

Al was born April 9th, 1933 in Shreveport, LA, and passed away Monday, February 11th, 2013. He proudly served his country in the Signal Corp 1st Infantry Division of the U. S. Army in Germany. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and served as Post Commander in Ventura, CA and Post 4588 in Bossier City, LA. He was a member of the American Legion Post 0014 in Shreveport. Al was owner and founder of Alpha Crowne Investment Co.

Al is survived by his brother Robert "Bob" Sanderlin, his step sons in Germany, his son in Durango, CO, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; the Myatt Family of Keller, TX; the Sarvary Family of Tallahassee, FL; the Despot Families in Shreveport, LA, Lafayette, LA, Birmingham, AL, Houston, TX, and Dallas, TX.

Bob Sanderlin would like to thank the many friends of the VOA Seniors Lunch Bunch at the Highland Center in Shreveport. Also the Friendly Circle Group at Noel United Methodist Church in Shreveport in Shreveport and a special thanks to David Hershberger, Rev. Rupert Pickett and Rosemary Barker for all their love and help.
