Victor L. Watts

DEBERRY, TX- Funeral services celebrating the life of Victor L. Watts, 78, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Tom Carlton. Interment with military honors presented by the Army Honor Guard will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2013 at the funeral home.

Victor was born on July 25, 1934 to Alvin and Ina Mae Watts and passed away on March 13, 2013. He was a resident of DeBerry, TX. Vic was retired from Railway Express Agency and General Motors. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed gardening and had a special place in his heart for dogs. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Pauline Watts; daughter, Vicki Baker and husband, James; daughter, Claire McDaniel and husband, Kenny Mac; stepsons, Dennis and Danny Martwick; stepdaughter, Paulette Dillon; granddaughters, Courtney and Kaci McDaniel; great-granddaughter, Kinley Mejia; step-grandchildren, Josh Tester, Anthony and Shelby Dillon and Dennis Marwick, Jr.; brothers, Alvin Watts, Jr., Gerald Watts and wife, Janice; several nieces and nephews; "his babies" Brownie, Princess, Lady, Tom and Jerry.

Honoring Victor as pallbearers are Dennis Martwick, Josh Tester, James Baker, Kenny McDaniel, Tim Wilson and Robert Frederick. Honorary pallbearers are Joel Hicks and Wayne "Tiny" Parham.

Memorials may be made in Victor's name to the ASPCA, Humane Society, and Paralyzed Veterans of America.
