Ethel Lee Callaway Sartor

Rodessa, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Ethel Lee Callaway Sartor, age 83 of Rodessa, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the Vivian Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Sherrill Stiles officiating assisted by Rev. H. L. Kendrick. Interment will follow at the Vivian Cemetery. The family will have a time of visitation on Monday, April 8th at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Vivian, LA from 5-8 PM.

Mrs. Sartor was born in Vivian, LA on January 15, 1930 to John Wesley and Ethel Lee Vick Callaway. After struggling with Alzheimer's for many years, Mrs. Sartor passed away peacefully on April 5, 2013 at North Caddo Medical Center due to complications from pneumonia. She was retired from VIP Boats and was a member of the Vivian Church of the Nazarene. Mrs. Sartor loved to embroidery, playing dominoes and to GO!

Mrs. Sartor is preceded in death by her husband, G.W. "Jeep" Sartor, her parents, John Wesley and Ethel Vick Callaway, brother, Wesley Douglas Callaway and wife, Jean, and sister, Dorothy Callaway Phelps and husband, George. She is survived by her son, Danny Sartor and wife, Connie of League City, TX, two daughters, Diann House and husband, Buddy of Rodessa, LA and Janice White and husband, Tim of Blanchard, LA. Mrs. Sartor is also survived by her brother John Callaway and wife, Edith of Shreveport, LA, grandchildren, Lauri Daly, Danny Sartor, Jr., Benji House, Melissa Martin, Gabe Loftin, several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honoring Mrs. Sartor as pallbearers will be her grandsons Benji House, Gabe Loftin, Danny Sartor, Jr. Eric Martin, and Major Matthew Daly; along with her nephews Kevin Whatley, D. J. Phelps and Roy Phelps Jr.
