Houston, TX / Shreveport, LA - Holton J. Wolcott, Jr. died July 11, 2013 in his sleep. He was known by his family and friends as "Hobo". Hobo was born on the 1st of September 1927 in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Katherine and Holton Wolcott Sr. Hobo graduated from C. E. Byrd High School in 1945, where he immediately joined the U. S. Marine Corp. Hobo served in China and during the Korean War. He is survived by his brothers, John Wolcott and George Wolcott; sister, Janet Dickerson; his brother-in-law, Harvey Lane. Hobo had a wonderful large family who loved him dearly. Hobo was preceded in death by his sister, Joan Lane and his daughter, Terese Ann Wolcott.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Niday Funeral Home, Pasadena, TX. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in memory of Holton J. "Hobo" Wolcott Jr. to "Children and Arthritis", 2751 Albert Bicknell Drive, Suite 2E, Shreveport, LA 71103.
