SHREVEPORT, LA—Louie Dillon Cobb, Jr., 60, went to be with his Heavenly Father on December 4, 2013. His family will be holding a private service. He was preceded in death by his parents Louie Dillon Cobb, Sr. and Gloria Jean Capps Cobb. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Heather Cobb Tompkins of Shreveport, LA.; and Lindsey Chapman and husband Andy of Birmingham, AL.; sister Amy Cobb Jett and husband Tim; brother Larry Cobb and wife, Mary; and grandchildren Sawyer Chapman, Harper Tompkins, Hadley Tompkins, Aidan Chapman; special cousin Herschel Cobb; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Louie was born September 11, 1953 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was a graduate of Louisiana Tech and an avid LSU fan. He worked in Sales and Marketing for many years. His family is known for the famous Cobb's BBQ Restaurant. Louie was a Golden Retriever enthusiast and was very proud of his own dog Nicky. He loved to read, play golf, and listen to classical music. But his biggest love was for his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Louie had a heart of gold and will be missed by all who loved him.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations may be made to The Magic Foundation in support of his grandson Aidan Chapman 6645 W. North Avenue, Oak Park IL. 60302.
