Bossier City, La - Kenneth Bangsberg, age 79, died December 7, 2013 at his home. He was the only son of three children of Earl Bangsberg and Adella Stoetekluh Bangsberg born on November 10, 1934 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. He graduated from West Salem High School, Class of 1952. He went on to graduate from DeVry Electronics in Chicago, served in the United States Air Force and attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He then worked in the Computer & Satellite Technology field at Goddard Space Center for NASA. He lived in Wisconsin, Washington State, New Mexico, Arizona, Florida and Maryland until moving to Bossier City, Louisiana in 2002. If you were to have asked him what he enjoyed, he would say, "Good Food!" He loved the many family gatherings, making his own wines, golfing, shuffleboard at the VFW and watching old western movies. He loved football and cheered on the Greenbay Packers and the Washington Redskins.

Ken's parents; sister, Yvonne Bangsberg Andrews and brother-in -law Ron Uber, preceded him in death. Ken is survived by his sister Sylvia Bangsberg Uber and brother-in-law James Andrews. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew; Sheryl Uber Pedrazoli and husband Larry, Sandra Uber Thomas and her husband Jerry, Sue Uber and Wayne Shaker, Sheila Uber VanDyck, Tanya Andrews Clark and her husband Chuck, Michelle Andrews Blake and her husband Bob, Pamela Andrews Dejnak and Scott Andrews and his wife Kaisu. He also leaves behind 9 great nieces/nephews and 3 great-great nieces. He will also be greatly missed by 'his kids' his dog Sydney and his cat Cocoa.

Services for Ken will be a visitation at 5:00 p.m. with a short service following at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana. Associate Pastor Aaron Fenker , of Immanuel Lutheran Church will be officiating. A visitation and service will be held Saturday, December 14th from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Jandt-Freidrickson Funeral Home, 121 North Youlon Street, West Salem, Wisconsin. Officiating will be Pastor Jason Schockman of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, with a graveside service following. He will be buried beside his parents at the Neshonoc Cemetery in West Salem.
